(November 18, 2019, 1:53 am)Was here Sunday 11/17 with a group of 15 from The Station church in Bessemer. We all had a great time. Our waiter was outstanding he answered all our questions and the food was very good his name was Wyatt

(October 6, 2019, 9:52 pm)We love Top of the River. Great food, great service. Staff is always amazing. Our "go to" place when we go through the area. Even last night stopping at 9:30, we didn't feel rushed to hurry and the corn bread, fish and greens might have been the best ever.

Service is always great and the greens are awesome.
Gotta try this restaurant if you like fried food. Grilled catfish is also good. -
(September 10, 2019, 12:54 am)Love this place! Food is always awesome and even tho it’s usually crowded, if you have to wait it’s worth it! The fried pickles are a good appetizer along with all the fixins you get ahead of your food. The greens are also a good addition! But be careful you can fill up on the good appetizers and not be able to eat your meal :)
