Capeside Fish Company

We have eaten here quite often in the past 1-1/2 years and for the most part been happy with the prices and food... occasionally there have been issues with undercooked and under seasoned. Service has always been great. Tonight we went there for the first time in a couple of months.... even though it was not very busy they had an over abundance of waitstaff, but our service was poor! And now they are charging an up charge of $3.00 for any change in side items.... I asked for plain grits instead of sweet potato grits and was told it would be an up charge of $3.00! I’m just not going to do that... I feel like they are trying to get too fancy and sophisticated... now they even have someone to seat you as you come in. I miss the old place... it will be awhile before we eat there again I’m afraid! They need to go back to their beginnings

Delightful surprise find! fresh seafood served to order with creative sides and pretty presentation. Would like. 4.5 starts here actually!
The only hold back from five stars is two of the three tables we set out were wobbly to the point of uncomfortable and unserviceable????
Wait staff was friendly ,patient with questions and knowledgeable in their answers ????????
I will certainly try another menu item whenever in Gadsden again!

So fortunate to have this so close to home. Food is amazing!! Makes me feel like I am at the beach every time I ear here!!
