American Deli

So for three entries, no utensils were received even though requested. There was a disgruntled or rude vibe strongly received. Knowing that customers have ordered sweet tea, "someone" instructed staff to remove the sweet tea from the lobby. I waited an additional 5 to 7 minutes over previous issues. The food was past cold by the time I received it. The burger was soggy without reason. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to receive an order placed online, etc. approximately 30 minutes beforehand. To instruct someone to select they've received his or her order when factually they have not and is still waiting another 10 minutes to complete the order....questionable and hopefully an isolated incident. Also, if a replacement cup is asked for, many people don't seem to have an issue with it. This employee non-verbally, seemed to have a slight issue.

This was a 2 in 1 strike. Hopefully a future visit will not be like this one was.

The Manager was very nice, her name was Chantelle! She had such welcoming energy! The Medium Hot Wings were delicious, with just the right amount of heat, crispiness, zing, and zang! The Philly Cheesesteak is so tender it literally melts in your mouth! The Okra is just like your Momma made it! And the Cheesecake is one of the best around, hands down! Sorry I didn't have any cheesecake left to take a photo!!

My order was missing items at my last visit. I spoke with the manager who reassured he would correct the order. On the day I came in I was greeted with a smile by the cashier and manager. He stood by his promise. The cashier told me about a cheesecake that is sooooo GOOD. I sat to eat and the dining area was clean and comfortable. HOT! FRESH! DELICIOUS!

Overall my experience was good. I had to park while my food was being made but that’s ok. The fries did not have salt and my burger had cheese when I said no cheese but it was fine. I would go back again.
