Sister's Soul Express

The food at Sister’s Soul is amazing. It’s one of those places that you don’t judge from the exterior or you may miss an exceptional meal. I had rather pay $7.99 for a meat and two sides than the same for another fast food burger combo any day!!! The staff is friendly and take the time to remember the names of the regulars. I have no doubt you won’t be disappointed if you drop by this quaint little establishment for lunch.

I have been here twice, both times during lunch. It was busy both times, but there were tables available. Services is pretty fast and the food is great! It's also not too pricey. A local restaurant that will make you want to come back! Simple, but clean and good!

I starting ordering my lunch to go about a week ago, the baked chicken, fish and every side I have had was exceptionally good and I mean great! It’s really soul food. The staff is not just friendly but they are extra helpful. I can’t believe Sister Soul’s was so close to my home and I just discovered them. I recommend it to every one who like great southern cooking give ‘em a try, you’ll be hooked!

Looking at the outside of the location, you might wonder if this is a good place to eat. Don't judge this book by its cover, you would be missing out on some great southern style food. My brother recommended this restaurant. The server, Charlie (a young lady not a guy), was fantastic, very cheerful and alert. Had the chicken fried steak, fried okra and butter beans. Everything was delicious and hot. The fried cornbread they put on the table was especially good. I found the prices to be more than reasonable and in fact cheap for the quality of the food. The restaurant was clean, the kitchen in plain view was well kept. Highly recommend.

A wonderful meal !! The food was Home cooking like Mama makes and it was delicious!! Our waitress was very attentive to refills of tea and such and our lunch experience a nice one. The Owners were very Humble and Gracious People who made us feel welcome. We will come another day for lunch with our new friends!!
