Taqueria Y Mariscos El Torito

My wife wanted to go here with the family for her birthday. It was an excellent choice! The food and service were outstanding! The margueritas especial were definitely made with Cuervo. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely return. Please note this is not typical Tex-Mex. This the real Mexican food you would find in a good restaurant in Mexico near the Gulf, at least as far as the maricos (seafood) side of the menu. Been there in my many travels. Going to try the taqueria side next time.

We saw this restaurant as it was under construction and watched the parking lot fill up after the grand opening. We were quite skeptical but finally decided to give it a try.
We are not Mexican nor do we speak Spanish but we LOVE Mexican food and have had many different takes on it throughout the years, and from many different areas of the country.

This is a very authentic Mexican restaurant. With what seems to be a modern twist. Everything we put in our mouth was delicious.

Our only complaint is that I wish the menu was a tad more descriptive in some areas, but they are working on that.

The portions were great for the value. We are excited to go back.

Definitely give it a try. I do believe it is one of Dothan's new gems!!! ☺️🤤😋

My husband and I had heard great things about this place so we decided to try it out. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and our food came out quickly. Very authentic and everything was fresh. Their prices are reasonable. We loved it and will most definitely be back.

Great AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant! Food was different yet amazing than other restaurants. We will be back!

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town. If you like seafood and Mexican food, this is the place!! Large portions and the flavors are excellent. It’s authentic (very much what we experienced in Mexico) which is what we really want in Mexican cuisine. Friendly staff! Clean! Great vibe! They serve beer, margaritas and other drink options.
