The Pond

We stopped by after a visit to the Space Center while headed back to Chattanooga. We wanted something besides a fast food and found The Pond on Google Navigation searching restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful waitress, the bartender double checked our choices when a beer we ordered was out of stock. Had two HUGE burgers with onion rings and fries. Huge portions, fresh burgers, soft buns, TV's with sports, music in the background saw a few families. We visited just before a dinner rush so was not busy at all. Mid price range. Highly recommend.

Good food and atmosphere. Excellent service. The people were all so nice.

So I wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars but you can't. And it wasn't worth just 4. That being said our first visit over all was a great experience!! We were seated quickly 4:30pm on Friday night. Hostess was nice but would have loved to have seen a smile. Waitress was cute as a button and super sweet. She was a new waitress but you wouldn't know it. She got our drinks and order quickly. And tended well to the six of us the entire time. I would definitely ask for her again. She's definitely my all time favorite. Now food, we ordered Gator bites for appetizer which was good. I ordered shrimp fettuccine added scallops with a slight up charge but totally worth it!!!! Better than Olive Garden!!! I shared it with others at my table who agreed it was AWESOME!!! The rest of my group ordered wings and 2 different pond buckets they were all very pleased with the food however it was a little show getting out to the table but it was worth once we got it. I didn't like the sweet tea but that wouldn't stop me from returning. We will definitely be back and asking for Kiah as our waitress!!!!
