Oh man I couldn’t wait to review this place. We were driving through and saw they had 4.5 stars so we decided to try it. So worth it! Anytime we drive through we will stop here! The food is spot on! I had the oxtail with rice and greens and corn bread. Not everyone knows how to make oxtail right well they do so tender and flavored perfect! My husband has the neck bones cabbage corn and cornbread. His necks were also tender and flavored perfect, the corn was made like mama always made and the cabbage was perfect! All of food was so good! The only hard thing is going to be continuing to drive on this road trip with that food in our bellies, we are ready for a nap now! Thank you for doing it right!
Oh and the staff working there was so friendly, you felt like you have known them forever!
This place was recommended to me by a chef friend as a great place to eat. Given the location, I was a bit sceptical. What I found was a hole-in-the-wall place that was very unassuming. When we walked in the door, there was a line running from the front to the back, and then back to the front again. This was at 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. One woman said she had come by earlier and the line was all the way out the front door.
This place has Great food! I'm glad we got there soon after it opened or we would've had to awhile in line. Most people got their food to go, but there is a small dining area. Would definitely recommend for the good quality home cooked food!

Eagle's restaurant is such a great and old school place to hang out with friends and family and eat. Plus if you and your people want more entertainment they have two arcade game machines that will surely put you back in the good old days. The staff is calm and cool. The food is the best. They always make sure you get your money worth. Plus the food is so soulful if you know what I mean.
