Very reasonable prices for what i consider the best sandwich I've ever had (the azada torta)
It is inside a furnature store, and if that bothers you, just take the food to go. You will not be disappointed. -
(August 23, 2019, 1:54 am)Great food at a good price. I had three of their street tacos after consulting with the owner who was very nice and cheerful. He shared a bit of his recipe for horchata. It is in the back corner of Ashley Furniture, a bit unexpected, but a great little food gem. Give it a try!

(August 2, 2019, 7:33 pm)Best Mexican food in Birmingham. This guy is a chef and this is the real deal. Wow. New favorite restaurant. Cafe Castillo - Inside Ashley’s in Hoover.
Monday-Thursday 10-6:30
Friday and Saturday 10-8:45pm
They have real tamales on Tuesday and Saturday after 4pm.
They have pozole, street tacos, huge tortas (amazing) and real horchata! -
(July 8, 2019, 6:41 pm)Good tacos, great Chorizo! The fruit waters are very good also. It's a bit of an experience, but worth the visit.
