Full Moon Bar-B-Que

Yesterday was the first time in this excellent restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We had great time with the attentive service, with the magnificent dishes and booze and with the comfortable price. We will no doubt come back in a short time.

This is the original location of the Full Moon Bbq franchise, where seating is crammed, but it’s worth it for the delicious food! Pulled pork with their chow chow on top, side of potato salad. I could eat this meal every day! Pork is tender and seasoned just right to compliment the smoke that kisses it as it cooks. All their sides are made in house, along with their famous desserts: choc chip cookies dipped in choc, and, carrot cake.

My family has ordered from this Full Moon for almost all my life and lately this has been the last straw. The sauce they put in my dad's potatoes spilled everywhere. Overall the food is ok but the quality of positioning and wait time needs to be improved.

When it comes to Bar-B-Que, I like to be able to see smoke coming from the establishment. They may be fooling by just burning wood but the taste says otherwise. Every once in a while I like to have some baby back ribs. While Full Moon is one of those joints that will lay the sauce on I have not been disappointed. The meat is tender fall off the bone. The sides and desserts are on point. Felt like I was getting a whole rack when I ordered the baby back plate

My wife and I stopped here passing through Alabama on a road trip, and we could not be more happy that we did! We were greeted immediately by the entire staff and everyone was friendly. The food was AMAZING! We highly recommend the ribs and the brisket. Definitely stop here for the best BBQ! We will be back!
