Found this while touring UAB. Cool little Italian place in an unexpected location. You order and pay when you arrive, so be prepared. You look into the kitchen, which was clean and busy. Food was excellent We both had pizzas and they were as good as any wood fired pizza you would expect to find in the Deep South. Wait staff was a little slow, but there were only two of them and the place was busy. I would definitely go back if UAB becomes my sons home for 4 years.

Great food, great service, and reasonable prices. They need more space and a bit more menu variety such as eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana.

Food was good, but a bit pricey. Waitress was very friendly and prompt. Would recommend the cheese bread with their olive oil and herbs.

I have dinner at Giuseppe's very frequently, at least four times a month. I have never been disappointed, their meatball sub is out of this world. Their chef salad is made with Romaine lettuce and other mixed greens with a very large amount of meat and cheese on it, guaranteed to please. I cannot speak for the deserts because I am usually satiated before ordering a dessert. The service there is as good as there is in Birmingham. I also pick up their pizzas to take home, it is one of my favorite pizzas in Birmingham. I do not hesitate to fully recommend Giuseppe's as a place to eat, it has a great atmosphere, try it you'll understand.

This is a small locally owned restaurant in a historic building that is very quaint. It had the best lasagna that I've ever eaten. It was very much a family atmosphere with good service and excellent food. I'll definitely be back for more!
