We went here Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. I must say, a little disappointed! It was not crowded, being in between lunch and dinner.
We were seated right away, our drink order was taken and promptly brought to our table, but then the disappointment started. We ordered an appetizer and dinner, because we had enough time to decide what we wanted to eat. About 25 minutes later, we got the appetizer, then it was 40 minutes after that, we wondered where our food was? Finally, we asked about our dinner and they checked, less than 5 minutes, our food comes out. Sadly, it wasn’t brought out together. We got our fish, but no sides, about 10 minutes go by, then sides. I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen, or where the manager was, but I’ve heard this is usually a great place to eat. We are not ones to complain, or want free stuff, just want good food, in a timely manner.
Honestly, the food was very good, but the service was terrible and not so much as an apology. I think you can do better, an hour and 45 minutes, to get fried shrimp with fries is a bit ridiculous. Your management and staff should do a better job.
Upon arrival we made our server aware it was our first time and we were excited to finally be there. We asked for suggestions for alcoholic beverages and he was not helpful in suggestions. The managers made sure to touch tables at time we were good but unfortunately and as time passed our server was horrible. We ordered oysters and waited forever for Tabasco and crackers. He brought one without the other. By the time we received the items oysters were cold. Now the food was phenomenal but service is what gives 3 stars. We waited forever for our checks and he was forever returning our cards so we can leave. I hope the service improves.
Outstanding!! I am a big fan of these restaurants hailing from my hometown. I was especially excited to see that they opened a new one a few hours from Nashville so I stopped in to have lunch with a client. It was superb! The blackened tuna sandwich was amazing & as were my client's shrimp tacos. Stuffed out! Huge portions. Can't wait for Nashville please!!
