The cheese muffins are awesome! Also, their salads with pork, beef or chicken are very good. The baked potatoes are huge and can be loaded with the meat of your choice if you wish. Save room for dessert because the pies are geat!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! My husband's office had their Christmas party there, at the restaurant in Trussville, AL. You know how some waiters and waitresses cringe when they see a party of more than 4 come in? Not so at this establishment!! Great, attentive service-my tea glass was never empty and we had as many cheese biscuits as we wanted to eat. Food came out in a timely manner, meaning we didn't wait an hour for our food even though we were a party of more than 4!! I had their rib eye steak with a loaded baked potato and house salad. I had my steak cooked medium and it was!! The baked potato wasn't tiny either. I have to say something about the house salad...you know, some restaurants will pile a handful of lettuce, a couple of tomatoes, maybe some sliced cucumbers and a small cup of dressing, right? Not at Jim 'n Nick's! This salad was a BED of lettuce, SEVERAL grape tomatoes, nicely sliced cucumbers, shredded cheese, croutons AND REAL bacon on it that was cooked and crumbled on top! AND I at first requested just 2 cups of ranch but with all that salad, I needed more. Do you know the waitress asked me how many I would like?! Very enjoyable experience and though I don't frequently visit Trussville, on the occasion I DO visit there, I will DEFINITELY be visiting Jim 'n Nick's again!!

Daniel, you were an amazing server, thank you for your patience and time. The Queso Dip did not stay long enough to cool off. Would love to see them bring back the Artichoke and Spinach Dip. We ordered the Beef Plate, Pick Two (Ham and Pulled Pork), Pig in a Garden, 1/2 Chicken. The sides were BBQ Beans, Collards, Mashed Potato and Mac & Cheese. All sides are wonderful. Our first time to try the ham and it was perfect. Chicken not overcooked very juicy. Our only complaint, two of us had the pulled pork, very dry and several pieces couldn’t be chewed. I have to admit this was a first, I get pulled pork every time and it is very good. You will love this place. If I get anywhere near a Jim and Nicks I will stop. Don’t forget to get the biscuits, you will want more than one basket.

Just have to say service was awesome. It was very busy for a Sunday night at 7pm. Our waitress was great tea was always full she checked on us often but not to much. They grilled corn and it was amazing. Food was good. My only complaint is that lately the turkey seems to by under cooked. It may just be me but I don't like pink turkey. This has been the case the last two times we have been there. I always get the same thing so the change it noticeable. Just one other suggestion butter with my biscuits. We always have to ask for it. And I don't like waiting longer than I have to to eat those to die for cheese biscuits:-)
