Sitar Indian Restaurant

The Chicken Tikka Masala is amazing! Yes, it's a small restaurant on the inside, but the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious. I have never been during lunch hours for their buffet. I work evening shift at UAB, and I just call, walk over, and pick up my food. If you are a fan of Indian food, give this place a shot :)

Food he is VERY good. I recommend butter chicken. The bread they give you is pure HEAVEN. Definitely going back!!!

This restaurant is surely one of the most attractive place in the area. Anytime I visit this place I am deeply pleased. They keep their high standard service and the topmost level of food they give. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Very recommended.

Best Indian food in town. I am a regular at Sitar and will always be. Saw some reviews thrashing their new location commenting on the use of disposable utensils and crammed space. But when I checked-in this weekend they didn't have any disposable utensils. I talked to the manager about the reviews and they said they were aware. Also, they were still accommodating to the new space (they aren't used to a small space either - and it's hard to find a good space in downtown). They had to use the disposable plates while they could find a space to install a dishwasher.

It gets crammed during lunch and of course that's when we all are hungry and noisy because we all like to chat ????????. Parking has always been a problem in downtown. No comments on that. Overall definitely recommend Sitar! Glad that you are back!

The food was great. I had the buffet, there was a good variety of items.
