T-Bone's Authentic Philly Style Cheesesteaks And Hoagies

I don't normally leave reviews but this was hands down one of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. Service was quick and the location was nice. I'm definitely coming back!

Never bought food here that I didn't absolutely love but the excessive wait though.

Still the food delivers! Would five star as usual but it's getting old to have to stand in the "forever" wait line.

Oh my goodness! This is a must go to restaurant if you’re anywhere near Downtown Birmingham. We don’t live close, maybe 20 minutes away, but we made the drive for dinner take out. It was completely worth it!!! We will definitely do it again. The food was outstanding! Even after driving 20 minutes home. My husband even took his leftovers to work that night and said it was just as good as it was when we ate it earlier that night. There are not any restaurants in the Birmingham area that can even compare to T-Bone’s Philly Cheesesteaks sandwiches. Not a single one!

My husband and I decided to try t-bones after I was craving a cheese steak and turned to google. Because of covid we have seen more and more small businesses close and because of this we have tried to support local businesses as much as possible. We were thrilled to find out this is a one of a kind and black owned business.
The atmosphere is super unique and the staff was efficient and friendly. We were impressed to see how busy they were even at 2:30pm. They are currently not allowing dine in but we waited inside for our order. Not only do they require masks but the staff were all very vigilant about enforcing this policy which we very much appreciated.
We traveled the 20 minutes home to enjoy our food in the comfort of our kitchen. The fries were a little soggy but that’s to be expected when you do not eat them right away. This is not at all their fault but more of a product of circumstance. The flavor was AMAZING! My sandwich was pretty darn perfect (likely the best we’ve ever had and my husband doesn’t generally like cheese steaks).
Overall the was an excellent culinary experience and we cannot wait to be able to enjoy their spectacular food in their establishment someday in the future. Well done T-bones so happy to see a great business thriving during these trying times.
