Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q

It's more than just the cheddar biscuits. The kitchen made my lunch piggy potatoes entree size and sure they could have adjusted the size or something but they gave me whole thing for no charge. And yes delicious as always with drinks to go!

We on town for the weekend staying one night in Birmingham, AL. It’s large group of us like 6 people. 1st time in the area so we wanted to try something we couldn’t get at home back in FL. The food was really good. The waitress told us we could go wrong wit anything we ordered, she was right we all enjoyed our food. Now the green beans was full to salty. They was eatable but lord they had a lot of salt.

Chunk of bone on husbands inside sliced pork bbq sandwich. Found out he did chip a tooth. How do you miss a bone the size of a rib end? Sandwich was tasty. Just hope kitchen didn't do it because of sliced request instead of pulled pork.???? Wait staff wonderful. She gets 5 stars!

This is the first time I have ever been to this place. The service was fast and professional. I ordered the pulled pork and beef combo plate. It was delicious but I kept thinking about how expensive it was . I recommend this place to anyone who does not have to worry about money. I would eat here all the time if I could.

Phenomenal is an understatement. My wife and I came into town to visit some of her family and she said the first place we were going to eat was Jim 'n Nick's. I'm a big fan of BBQ food but had never been to Alabama, and this place blew my mind. Every single employee was beyond polite, and our server was incredible. He gave great recommendations for food because I couldn't decide what to order and all of it was perfect. I got the 3 meat plate with short ribs, beef brisket and pulled pork with baked beans and collard greens and the flavors were fantastic. The sweet tea was delicious and way better than anything we can get back home in NY. Prices were great as we got WAY more food than I expected for the price, including two desserts and a dinner to go. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Only way this place could be better was if we had one in NY.
