Biryani Bowl - Indian Cuisine Homewood AL

We tried Biryani Bowl for the first time tonight and we’re really impressed! It fits perfectly into the Birmingham food scene, since we don’t have an Indian restaurant quite like this. We very much enjoyed our bowls, and the veggie pakoras were awesome! It will become a regular part of our takeout rotation!

I went there for the first time today, and I didn’t know what to expect, but I definitely wasn’t disappointed. We got the Chicken tikka masala and the Gongura boneless biryani with a parotta on the side. The biryani came with a small yogurt sauce on the side and it went so well with the food that we paid a little more to get a larger container. The food was amazing and really well seasoned, everything was delicious. The service was fantastic, they were very kind and were happy to help me whenever I asked. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I would go again.

Absolutely delicious Indian comfort food, and great service. Was exactly what I was hoping for, and then some. Very nicely seasoned and herbed bowl, packed with flavor. Will absolutely be going back!

Ordered boneless chicken biryani and chicken 65. Both were good and well made. Chicken was tender and tasty. Worth the price. Of note, the place is inside the Red Sea Ethiopian restaurant and we could not see the restaurant name ‘Biryani Bowl’ anywhere on reaching the location. Ended up calling the restaurant to figure out the location. And there is no dine-in option yet. Would recommend this place.
