    I eat here at least 3 times a week. Taco, Burrito, enchilada combo...is the bomb. Great sweet tea, fresh chips and salsa.

    We went to this restaurant on a whim as we were in the area. Really good food, and great service. We had the chicken quesadilla plate and a side of cheese dip. It was fantastic. We decided to add the margarita special which was a Blood orange margarita. Absolutely delicious! It’s our new go to in Homewood. I would like add that we are food snobs ????

    Picked out a nearby Mexican place with good reviews, and they lived up the ratings! Ordered a spinach dip to go with our chips and got a massive bowl of dip. They have delicious food that was served super quick - really love their tamales! And the staff were all incredibly nice and proactive. Will probably eat here again!

    Tonight was out first time visiting Maya and it most definitely won't be our last! We have been looking for a new Mexican restaurant that has great food and where the staff is pleasant. We used to go to La Fiesta in Hoover once a week because they do have good food, but most of the employees are terrible and rude. But Maya is the complete opposite! Every single person we encountered was smiling, friendly and helpful! It means a lot to visit a restaurant that has great food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Every food item that we ordered was great! You can tell what you are eating is fresh and made to order. If you are looking for a great mexican restaurant in the Birmingham area, you must try this place! You will not be disappointed!!
