Sanpeggio's Pizza

I am in Bham for work and rely heavily on Google reviews to help decide where to eat. Sanpeggio's had great reviews, and it was in the area that I was in at the time. I ordered a build-your-own calzone and was not disappointed. It was so good! Because I live out of a suitcase, I choose to dine in 99% of the time. However, in this place, Hell's Kitchen was on the TV, and, as true to Gordon Ramsey's character, the f-bombs were flying left and right. I am so glad this was not a situation in which I had my children with me. I realize not everyone shares the same opinion on language such as that, but it isn't something I would want to listen to while having a meal with my family. Just my 2 cents...

Pizza is great, the place is clean the young man who fixed my pizza had excellent hand washing technique and very courtesy and fast service. Did I the pizza is great. 🤣🤣

Ordered pizza thru Doordash. Arrived fresh and hot. Ordered a Supreme large pizza thin crust and an XL Meat Pizza hand tossed.

They seem to do really light sauce, except around the crust edges. I would also recommend adding caramelized tomato paste to the sauce base to bring out some natural sweetness from the tomato. When you do get sauce it’s very salty and very spiced but has no mellow notes.
Overall, it’s not for me but they have solid toppings quality.

Had their pizza delivered to our hotel while traveling in the area and it was great. Sauce and toppings had great flavor and the hand-tossed crust had the perfect "chew" and taste. Would definitely recommend!
