Moss Rock Tacos & Tequila

We just happen to find this little diamond in the woods on our way home from Tuscaloosa. Everything was great. The salsa, cheese dip, and steak tacos were some of best I've had. I am a steak taco connoisseur and these are some of the best! And the margaritas are worth having 2.

Love this place it had a authentic yet not to so authentic feel. Great food and drinks in a quiet area. Ordered tacos which was great. Buffalo chicken tacos are way too go if you like spicy tacos. Staff was very friendly

Went to a birthday lunch with a group of twenty. I arrived a bit early and the table was set already with chips and salsa for all. Plenty for everyone. This was my first time here.

I was met by the hostess who quickly sat me prior to the others arriving and the server brought my drink quickly while I waited.

I had the Taco Salad with a side of guacamole. It was really good. Their salsa was some of the best I've had at a Mexican restaurant. However, we didn't find out until the end that there was a charge for chips and salsa. That was odd since we were not asked prior, however, I will say it was very inexpensive. Three dollars for the table for everyone. Our server probably just forgot to mention it, and we would have sprung the the bucks regardless.

My salad was brought first, and I intended to wait until the others had gotten their food. Their food ended up taking quite a bit to be brought out and was done so sporadically. We began to go ahead and eat so not to let our entrees get cold while the others waited. Our server, however kept us in refills through the wait.

One friend ordered the burger. He said it was the worst burger he ever had. It didn't look appealing at all and was the same size as the kiddos burgers. Other than that, it was a good little taco place. My friend admitted he shouldn't get a burger at a taco joint. Our server was very attentive, and did an excellent job.
