The Casual Pint at The Grove

They were stretched a little thin the night I came by- likely due to the trivia night. They had a nice beer menu and the food was good too. I imagine that on a regular, non-hectic evening, that it is a very enjoyable place to visit.

It's alright. Not wonderful, not terrible.
The good:
Nice selection of beers on tap. They have a good variety and the prices are fair.
The space it self is nice, with a decent amount of seating at the bar and some tables throughout the place.

The bad:
Their food is underwhelming. Merely okay.
The bartender I had wasn't exactly friendly. Polite, sure. But a bit cold.

Overall the place has potential. It's a nice place to hang and share beers with friends. I'd give them a second visit, just eat elsewhere first.

Had a great lunch and a few pints to go with it. The food was delicious and the beer selection was impressive. Will definitely visit again in the future

Finally, a place in Hoover with good beer. Awesome draft selection and a couple fridge units with other single beers. They have a food menu and outdoor area but we didn't get to check any of that out. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. We'll definitely be going back!!

What a great local place! We went on a weeknight and thoroughly enjoyed! My favorite was the spicy bourbon meatballs. We were able to enjoy a conversation without shouting too. Definitely will be returning.
