The Purple Onion Hoover

We stopped for lunch coming from East coast. I ordered kabob plate, I have to say the lamb was perfect! Delicious. The falafel plate was also well prepared. I was afraid that the extensive menu, that most of this stuff is frozen. I was wrong, everything we had was fresh! Including the orange and pineapple for desert!

The food is so good! I love the veggie baker and the falafel burger. I would definitely recommend.

To start out I normally stick with the gyro plate. But for the first time I actually tried the Greek omelette and was pleasantly surprised. I need more of that in my life. I will always go back to the purple onion. They never disappoint.
The one in South Side Birmingham has always been my favorite though since I was a teenager a couple decades ago. Perfect late night meal.

The food is excellent. Only problem was the cashier, who was kinda rude and the owner who was sitting in a booth near the counter who kept looking at us as though we were going to steal something.
