The Seafood King - Hoover

Had an awesome experience tonight. Our server/manager, Jami, was awesome. She had to do double duty tonight and she rocked at it! Food was delicious and can't wait to visit again...

Best seafood restaurant in hoover!
My wife and I really really liked this place.
Resonable price, good quality, good service.
As a Korean, I think this place is only place which can make real good 'spicy' food similar to korean food.

One of the best restaurants in town - I recommend ordering a side steamed rice with your boiled seafood. It's almost too good to be true... and the chocolate cake is very yummy.

Our intended destination was closed, so we made a detour and found this new seafood restaurant instead. Boy am I glad we did! The atmosphere was fun, and when they brought you a big aluminum bucket with bibs and gloves "just in case they were needed", well you knew you were in for something special. The food did not disappoint. The batter on my fried shrimp was thick with just the right amount of crunch. I will be back to try more of the menu.

We were happy to see something different in the area so we tried this for lunch but we were not that impressed. The service was great the staff was very friendly but our food was not so much the chicken wings did not have any flavor to them and the onion rings and fried fish and shrimps were soggy from being put in a box immediately after being cooked and did not have a good taste to it. I don't think we will try this place again only because of the taste of the food but the atmosphere and customer service is great.
