Waffle House

My sister and I took my Mom to breakfast and we went to the Waffle House on John Hawkins Parkway in Hoover. I have to say our waitress was awesome. My Mom is a little eccentric but our waitress went along with her and went out of her way. We had a wonderful time. The restaurant was clean and everyone was super friendly.

Staff was amazing at 4 am on Sunday morning. They went over and beyond to make sure the customer satisfied with their food. Once they serviced me I was completely amazed. Not only did they sell respect, made sure my order was correct, and made sure it was to my liking. This is the only waffle house in the Birmingham Districk that has accurately gotten my food right This is the only waffle house in the Birmingham Districk that has accurately gotten my food right. As long as that specific cook and waitress is working I will always be in the building. I Wish I could have gotten her name. However I will never forget a face especially one that put On my stomach.

It's a fantastic place to eat, awesome staff and delicous food! And a nice place to relax after work.

My family and I ate at this location this evening on our way home from the baseball game. We walked into the place packed and one cook behind the counter. He greeted us and then told us he was a little behind because he was the only employee on staff. We sat down and he was hustling taking care of about 12 different tables cooking/cleaning/serving doing the job of 5 employees all with a smile on his face. Many people were asking him what happened to the other staff. He wouldn’t even say anything bad about them when he had every right to do so. I’ve never seen a guy so happy to take over the job of everyone but he did it with class and with the absolute best attitude. This cook needs to be promoted to management and given a pay raise. I really hope Waffle House understands the value of an employee like this. It’s hard to find people that want to work and have a great attitude in this type of situation. I salute you night cook and hope you are rewarded for your hard work!

Wonderful food and family-friendly environment. Even though they didn't have a full staff, our order was perfect and we never had to wait on a refill. We will definitely be back!
