La Paz

Enjoyed an excellent meal at La Paz. The cheese dip is some of the best in town! Despite a very busy day right before Christmas the service was hopping and right on point. The steak is very tasty and the chips and salsa are great. This is a little pricier than most Mexican places but it’s higher scale and worth it.

We have not been to La Paz in a few years, but stopped by for dinner last week. It was every bit as good as on our previous visits. Our server was extremely friendly and just attentive enough. She knew the menu and made good recommendations, checked on us at appropriate intervals. Between the food and service, we left wondering why we haven't been there more often and vowed to change that.

Delicious food. Came here for lunch. Got fish tacos and the street corn. Big portions and very tasty. Prices were also good. Definitely will be back

Best Mexican food in Birmingham in my opinion! The Verde salsa they serve is to die for! The Mexican rice was rich with flavor, unlike the dried mess you get at your standard joint. The beans we also fresh and had that deep purple color that they should have. The staff was also very attentive and on top of everything! Will definitely be coming back!
