My husband and I decided to eat here for it date night. It was a mistake. When we walked in the door they couldn't decide where to seat us. The hostess asked a waiter if he wanted another table and he flat out said no. We stood there about 5 minutes with plenty of available tables. So we ended up being seated with the waitress that already had a lot of tables. The hostess took our drink orders. Then the waitress brought our drinks about 15 minutes later and took our order. After she took our order she came back and said they had ran out of baked potatoes!! Our salads came out promptly, but it took about 30 minutes to get our entrees. My husband ended up with mashed potatoes instead of the fries he ordered. I have never been to an Applebee's where the steak had no flavor what so ever. My husband asked for onions and mushrooms on top of his steak, but never got the mushrooms. Luckily I had a sauce with mine and it gave it flavor. My husband eats his steak medium rare and I like mine medium well. I ended up with a medium steak. My husband ordered a draft beer and it took 15 minutes to get it. The service by our waitress was good for the number of tables she had, but our experience could have been better had the other waiter had taken on another table since he had less tables and people than our waitress. Once we got out ticket we realized themushrooms were not put on the ticket, which must be why the runner never came back to the table with them. Oh and we pulled up about 7 p.m. and none of the outside lights were on and I guess that should have been a hint that they were stretched thin. When we walked out the outside lights are still off and people were still coming in.
The Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp was delicious and the the Chicken Alfredo was fantastic. Katie was a very sweet waitress. An excellent dinning experience.
The new ribeye steak is good. Cooked a little longer than I’d like, but still very good. Service was a little poor as I had to wait about 15-20 minutes after being seated to order. Drink order was taken after about 2-3 minutes so that was appropriate. Even when our waitress finally came to take our order she didn’t even acknowledge our wait or apologize for taking so long. The paper towel dispenser in the men’s restroom was empty. The wait of 20 minutes is my biggest pet peeve especially when the waitress didn’t even apologize or explain why she took so long.
????????????????????????
I got the chicken tender platter with fries and mash potatoes. The chicken and fries were super good. The mashed potatoes are kinda bland but I was enjoying my dinner. Then I flipped over the mashed potatoes that looked old to see three hairs that were not mine. Although there was hair and the mashed potatoes looked kinda old, the waitress (Ms Lisa) was extremely nice and friendly. She got my order to be redone and everything was super good
