Google recommended a breakfast place near area to try and found this hidden 💎. Aesthetically pleasing, small & comfy. Small parking lot. Greeted by staff. Be sure to order at kiosk 1st, then choose a table number available to sit. If 1st time be sure to tip and pay upon entry. Great selections. Food turned out hot, seasoned and flavorful. Everything nice and clean. A must as a critic. Morning weekday quiet, & low key. Great space to work remotely or have a quick business meeting with an ice coffee! You got to give it a try!

I came here with a group of 8 for my birthday a few weeks ago and I’ve been torn about how to review this place. The aesthetic is gorgeous and so cute and festive for getting friends together and pictures. Great environment! The service was great, I felt that our food came out in a timely manner without any pestering. Good menu selection and the food we had was very tasty. Where things went south was I noticed that part of the chicken on my biscuit looked underdone. I figured it would be fine and I’d eat around it. I let the manager know and she apologized and asked if I’d like them to make me another dish. I felt like this was the wrong response. 1. I have already eaten, I don’t want more food and 2. She put the responsibility on me to further advocate for myself to make it right. At the moment, I was just a little disappointed but later that night I got VERY sick and wished I had pushed for something to make it right. So, I am tempted to try this place again but honestly the idea makes me anxious.

Came here for a quick breakfast on my remote day and it was well worth the visit. The biscuits are great (and flaky). The omelet is phenomenal. My husband got oatmeal and love his dish as well!

Great service from Lauren and this place is super cute.

We will definitely be back any time we are in Birmingham or any of the other locations. Highly recommend.

We had gone to a cars and coffee at the Summit. I was looking for a good breakfast place, and this had everything I was looking for and more.

I had done my homework the night before to see what I wanted to order. I was surprised that this place ships nationwide through Gold Belly. I was thinking this place must be good.

When I arrived there this morning, I was surprised to see this place had so much more to offer than what you see on the menu.

They had mugs, shirts, and a sampler of jelly for sale to mention a few. If I had space in my truck, I would've bought one of every item. The restaurant itself was simple but inviting. It didn't have way too much going on on the walls that would make it look tacky.

I definitely thought it was cute that they had big pictures or portrait like, that have children's writing and drawing about what they like to eat and why.

    I ordered:

    1. Biscuits and gravy - For some reason, I thought it had sausage on a biscuit with gravy. This was actually sausage gravy over a biscuit. I was not disappointed because it was so tasty and creamy. You definitely get bits of sausage in every bite. I was too excited, and what I meant to order was the S.E.C. Definitely want to try this next time.

    2. Bonuts - Fried biscuit dough tossed in sugar. It came with a lemon compote and blueberry compote. It reminded me of like the biscuit beignets I had but different. This was fluffy like a donut on the inside and had sugar instead of powdered sugar. This was so sweet and paired well with the blueberry compote and lemon compote.

    3. Side of chronic bacon - It was sweet and sticky but had a kick to it. It kind of reminded me of a jerky but not.

    4. Side of fried potatoes - this was so crispy and flavorful. It was so well seasoned that you don't need ketchup.

    5. Build- your- bubble-waffle - This was interesting. Here they call it a bubble waffle, these are similar to eggettes we have at home. The difference here is that the batter is made with biscuit batter. It's the percent finger food for kids and adults. It came with bananas and whipped cream with sprinkles.

    6. Fruit tea - I ordered this based on the recommendation of the lady helping me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but based on the ingredients, it's like an arnold palmer with pineapple and orange juice. When I tasted it, it was the perfect balance of fruits and not overly sweet. I couldn't really taste the tea or much of a tart. It was really good and a nice, unexpected twist of what I thought it would be.

The lady who helped me was super nice and patient, while I wanted to get a sampler of everything they had to offer.

Highly recommend this place, and if I lived in the area, this is the perfect brunch place

    What a fun restaurant!

We got the S.E.C with chronic bacon (sweet and spicy) instead of sausage, the Gertie, and Bonuts. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding.

I think I'd like to try the S.E.C. with regular bacon next time.
