Davenport’s Pizza Palace - Vestavia Hills

I gave the Davenport's in Vestavia 5 stars for the following:
Opened at 11 on the dot.
Greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcomed.
Gave me a menu right away and told me server would be with me.
Server came within a minute with a smile and asked if I wanted to wait until the other person was there. I said no, ordered the pizza (large with 2 toppings) and 2 Cokes.
Server came out with plates, silverware and drinks.
Other person came and server checked on us again.
Person who seated us came and asked if we wanted the TV on or if the music was too loud. We said no to TV and asked for music to be turned down since there was no one else outside with us.
They checked on us again to see if music level was ok. It was. We could hear the 70's music with out shouting.
Server came out with pizza. It was hot and delicious. The order was perfect.
Server came out during the meal to check on us. Offer box and take out drinks. Came back with both and we gave her our credit card. Asked if we wanted printed receipt. We did and she gave it to us.

LOVED our experience with this restaurant. Great food and outstanding service by entire staff. So happy with everything that I wrote this review right away.

Wow! Amazing to see such a classic pizza place replicate the best pizza to perfection while achieving an amazing vibe that echoes the original location with its own twist. It will be very hard to decide which location to choose!

The pizza was astounding to no surprise, and the freshness and quality of ingredients was apparent. The salad crisp and fresh as well. Great drink/beer/wine selection.

Great for a date night, get-together with friends or the whole family. Game room gave kept our kids entertained when we were not enjoying the pizza!

The staff was so friendly, and we were attended to well throughout the experience. Rock star team. Can’t wait to go back soon!

The new location is great. It has much of the look and feel of the original Davenport’s including the color scheme and checkered tablecloths. It also has the vintage video room for kids. The new location also has a nice bar and TVs. The staff was responsive and very friendly. As always, the pizza was the best!

We loved everything about the new Davenports location in Vestavia. The staff was courteous, the food and drinks came out timely, and the pizza was every bit as good as the original location. We especially loved the outdoor play area for the kids to enjoy while we had a drink and waited for our food. Will absolutely be back!

Davenport’s is by far the BEST Pizza! The pizza, wine, and beer selections are excellent. It has a spacious bar with multiple televisions. Really enjoyed the atmosphere keeping much of the original feel, but bringing on a new vibe. The arcade area is great for children and helps the parents to be able to sit and enjoy a meal. Service was also 100%.

The new restaurant is amazing! Our pizza was fantastic and the staff took great care of us on out first visit! They have a great beer selection along with nice TV's to catch a game on! My son loves the new game room and we look forward to making many great memories at the new spot in Vestavia!
