Sledge's BBQ

Always had good food and service here. However I brought a friend in town and told him it was the best BBQ in Lauderdale county. We drove 20 minutes just to get this food. The lady that took our order was great. The short, black haired, girl that delivered our food was far from it. Walked to our table slaps down 2 sandwiches (aggressively)snatched the table number off the table, proceeded to stomp away. She was taking off guard while my friend said thank you, but returned a hateful your welcome.
Then postured up on the side where you place a order and stared at me and my buddy while we ate it was really strange

Small mom and pop place but some of the best service and food I’ve ever had. Definitely my favorite bbq place in the area. I tell everyone to come here!!

Damn good food and friendly people

The best brisket I've had in north Alabama. I grew up in Texas so I am familiar with good brisket bbq. Sledge's has the real deal. Delicious smoked flavor, very little fat, trimmed just right and some amazing mustard bbq sauce made just for the brisket that is off the charts. I had baked beans and potato salad, hubby had coleslaw and baked beans. Large helpings and all fantastic. My first visit there but it sure wont be my last. Highly recommend.
