Wildwood Tavern

This is a HIGHLY ALTERNATIVE PLACE. It attracts a character filled scene. It is a place where you can find rebellious, quirky, artistic, intellectual and conventional people all under one roof. What really makes it cool is that it has another room to the side where you get FREE arcade games to play. This place is an absolute GEM.

I've ordered several Long Island Ice Teas but Red is the only one who makes them to my liking.

It's a very cool, eclectic atmosphere with a good selection of draft and bottle beer. I was a bit disappointed with the menu. It's seemed to be the same take (Philly, Buffalo, BBQ, veggie, etc) in different formats (sandwich, pizza, pasta). I got the veggie pizza which was okay. Very thin, cracker-like crust and lots of cheese. The bartenders were very attentive and the prices were extremely reasonable.

Wildwood Tavern is one of the best bars that you can possibly go to. Not only is it an authentic environment, but somewhere no matter what part of the world you're from you can have an excellent time. You're treated with respect, dignity, and the entire staff are a true delight. If you're from out of town this is the only bar I ever suggest here in the Shoals area, and what I've already typed is why. Furthermore the cocktails and beers are excellent, along with the food selection. I wish I could rate it higher than a 5 star rating, because it is deserving of more.
