Another Broken Egg Cafe

Quite tasty. I went with my wife to this location, as well as another location in the pensacola area. I preferred this location, the staff was really friendly. I got eggs and potatoes with a biscuit and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The sausage has a very strong sage flavor, similar to jimmy dean sage, but obviously better tasting. I had a 30 minute wait at 930am on a sunday, use the yelp app to reserve a table, because they frequently have a long wait.

My fourth time coming to this location. Previous visits were great and the food is always awesome!! However, today was a different experience. I ordered the carrot pancake stack which was good, but it basically tasted like a carrot cake with so much sauce (not a fan, but my kiddo LOVED THEM). That’s trivial, compared to the experience. Literally every 30 seconds we were swatting off gnats that kept circling our food. The entire experience was rushed due to this cumbersome task (gnat swatting). I’ve never understood why gnats existed, or what they feed on, but hope they can get this under control.

I’ve eaten at previous locations in Atlanta, GA and today I had the pleasure of checking out this location and I have to say, it did not disappoint. I probably had a better experience here in Auburn than other locations in the past. EXCELLENT food, choice variety, coffee and service. I commend every single person including the chefs, servers and managers who made not only my experience here special but delightful! Will definitely be going back again soon. WAR EAGLE
