Savanh Thai Kitchen

Some of the best food in town, this Thai and Laotian cuisine spot is one of Auburn's newest gems that, as the reviews are beginning to indicate in droves, is quickly becoming one of the best, most consistent and reliable restaurants around. I've dined in many places at home and abroad and all in-between, and I have to say that Savanh Thai Kitchen is one of those places that has that "It" factor, never ceases to charm its patrons (I love looking around and seeing others having just as good of an experience as I am), and leaves me feeling full and satisfied in more ways than one. Highly recommended!

Great green curry that had a very good spice. Very fresh food and lovely ambiance in the restaurant. Was surprised at how lovely the space is inside as well as the outside eating area! Looking forward to more visits. Very good place to bring family. Chicken satay was very good and tofu summer rolls were extremely fresh. Would add more cilantro to those though! My husband and I used to live in San Francisco and are Thai food snobs, and we were very, very pleased! Hoorrayy!!!

Very Good Food, Service Slow and Inexperienced. Overall, I enjoy this restaurant. It's food is very good but a bit too saucy and pricey for my liking. Also, the spice level was not quite what I had expected for "medium" hotness - a little too weak. Service was a bit slow, and waitresses are a little awkward with the customers; inexperience was obvious. They are a family-run restaurant whose mother is the chef and her children tend to the customers and tables. Watch what they charge your card, because one meal there was charged incorrectly (higher tip than what I selected on the receipt). I will revise this to four stars if they return my phone call or email regarding the overcharge.

Excellent service. All the waitresses are super friendly and quick. Food is phenomenal. Get the mango sticky rice. It'll make your life super happy

Delicious and Fresh. New in town and a great addition to the Auburn Opelika area. Food was fresh and delicious and everything was great. We like our Thai food HOT and we got it medium here and it was good. They brought a little extra Thai Hot Sauce and we added just a bit to get it where we like it.

Service was a bit slow but they are new and made up.for it with the food. Can't wait to go back.
