The food was great. I love it and the okra. The buffet was well stocked and the staff were friendly and courteous.
We love fish! And Captain D's is our favorite place to go to when we are craving something other than a burger. The staff is always pleasant, and our food is brought out quickly.
Fantastic! Best Captain D’s experience. The restaurant was clean and the staff was pleasant. The Sunday buffet was well stocked but not too much where anything went cold or stale and it was constantly monitored. Thank goodness for the interstate sign about the buffet that caught my attention for this little gem as I’d really written off this chain due to constant poor service and quality. This location is not like any of the others I have been to in the past.
They do have a buffet on Friday, Sat. and Sunday from open to 8:00 p.m. and I think I just paid $8.50 for it. I was there about 1:30 on a Sunday.
I found everything to be hot and fresh on the food bar. Not every menu item is on the buffet but there was there reg. batter dipped fish, southern style fish, slaw, fries, baked potatoes, fried okra, a container of just crunches, and a few other items. Service was fast and friendly, and I found the place to be clean and well kept. I left happy and felt my money was well spend for the service and food I received.
The fish and chicken are good, but the veggies are way overcooked. They may have been fresh at some point, but never when I'm there. Service is very efficient and the staff moderately friendly. The facility although old was fairly clean.
