D & L Seafood and Grill

Finaly got the opportunity to eat here's, and I was not disappointed! The shrimp gumbo was delicious, fast service and decent prices. My server Justin was on point. The atmosphere was relaxing in a nice, clean environment. Will definitely go back.

Absolutely Delicious! We ordered appetizers and 5 different entree’s. The Daily special was amazing, along with the very tasty butterfly shrimp. The lightly battered fried seafood was perfectly cooked and simply delicious.
Service was professional, friendly and quick.
We will definitely be returning again very soon.

A wonderful first experience at D&L. We were seated immediately on a Saturday around lunchtime. Both booths and tables available. We ordered the Calimari appetizer which was bountiful and delicious. We shared it between 3 people and all of us got a decent share of it. Could easily have stretched to a group of 6.

We each ordered the catfish fillets and were very pleased with the batter and how they were cooked. The shrimp (both grilled and fried) were huge and delicious. The servings are huge for the money spent. It is more expensive than a place like Captain D's but the portions are massive and it really feels like the food was made by people who love food and put love into it.

The waitress was attentive, friendly, and helpful. She explained the menu when we asked questions and kept an eye on our drinks and other needs.

We will be returning.

Very nice atmosphere and good food. Since we are both on Weight Watchers right now grilled food was our choice. We both had the Grilled Shrimp and Scallops. It came with a salad, steamed veggies (zucchini, carrots, broccoli), and choice of mashed potatoes or Cajun rice. My husband had mashed potatoes; I chose Cajun rice just because I don't like mashed potatoes. Didn't eat the rice because it was too spicy for me and it was too many points anyway. The veggies, especially the broccoli could have been cooked more. The shrimp and scallops were awesome.

The food was fresh and the service was fast and amazing. For me seafood is either fantastic or horrible, there isn't much middle ground. This was fantastic! The calamari was crisp and not chewy at all. We will be back many, many times! This is a much needed addition to Athens!
