Dub's Burgers

You simply can not come to Athens Alabama and not go to Dubs for a cheese burger and fries. There are burgers then there's a Dubs all the way. If you truly want a wonderful lunch go to Dubs.

Dub's Burgers is a big peice of Athens history. The food is always very good. The service is almost always very good as well. Unfortunately our last visit was not their usual greatness. It took them an extraordinarily long time to greet us at our table. When the server did arrive and was very apologetic and was friendly. My wife ordered a grilled cheese and fries and I ordered a cheese burger all the way and fries. The grilled cheese also took forever to arrive. My burger and fries were great as usual however, the grilled cheese was just about dripping with butter, just way too much. This is not the usual from Dub's Burgers just my honest review from my last visit.

This is probably one of the best homestyle cheeseburgers you'll ever have. Also you've got have you a fried chocolate pie for dessert!

Amazing burgers and very reasonable prices! Fries were good and you must try the fried chocolate pies! Fantastic place will return soon.

New owner was super friendly! Burgers are very tasty. Great hole in the wall spot. Love the locals that stop in.
