Posey's Restaurant

This is a buffet style restaurant with small menu. The food when we went was warm and fresh we did arrive 30 min after opening. There was 3 meats, fried chicken, fried catfish, and pot roast. The sides were mashed potatoes, cream corn, black eyed peas, green beans and steamed broccoli. There is a salad bar as well. They had 2 desserts available chocolate pudding and peach cobbler. It was all very delicious. Our waitress was friendly and we never ran out of drinks.

Awesome food on the buffet. Tastes like my Mom's home cooking. My husband likes the whole fried catfish and peach cobbler.

They open on Sunday at 11 am. When we pulled into the parking lot at 10:55, people were already lining up. Once they opened the doors they made quick work of getting folks sat down. We opted for the buffet and it was fabulous! Some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. It was lightly breaded, well seasoned and juicy. The ham slices were very generous. We enjoyed the dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans and cornbread. Most people were there for the buffet but we did see a waitress bring burgers and fries to a table next to us. Those plates looked really good too and the portions were generous. Sometimes when you go to a buffet dishes tend to be over salted but not here. These folks really know how to cook. We will definitely be back.

Very good home-style food! We all had the buffet which contained fried chicken, roast, fried whole catfish, and shrimp for the meats and a ton of veggies. There is a salad bar as well as desserts on the buffet. All in all, my entire family was very pleased and we will be returning!
