Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill

Update: Went for second meal 11/3: Food not as good. Salty Jambalaya, extremely greasy fries. Not sure what happened. Very nice and professional staff. I'll try again before lowering rating - new chef? The Catfish and Shrimp plate was outside the norm - very, very good! A little spicy but definitely Cajun. Chicken and waffles also good - surprisingly and reasonably priced. Welcoming atmosphere. Our server was exceptionally kind and attentive.

I came here one night last week after having an awful day at work.. and I'm so glad that I did! The stuffed flounder is to die for!! And make sure you ask for Beth to wait on you! (petite waitress with several tattoos). She is the cutest! If you're dining alone, like I was, she will keep you company while making sure she also takes great care of you! I used to be a waitress in college and WOW! I was definitely impressed by her service and personality! Possibly my new favorite restaurant in town!

Best restaurant experience we've had in a very long time! We were waited on by Beth and we were so impressed by how personable and sweet she was! She seemed to truly enjoy her job and she took great care of us! We never ran out of drinks and almost as soon as we finished eating, she cleared all of our dishes off the table and out of our way! I had the peel and eat shrimp and my husband had a spicy shrimp pasta with mushrooms in it. Food was outstanding as well! We highly recommend this place and our waitress, Beth! Give this girl a raise!!!

When my friends and I look for a place to frequent, we look for two things: Great food (Cajun has it) and vibrant experience (hit or miss). We enjoy this place because you can sit inside/outside, watch football games, and also maintain conversations in a relaxing setting. When we sit at the bar, we look for a bartender that is great at their craft, personable, energetic, and able to maintain the flow for all customers.

Ericka is an excellent example of a bartender and environment that we seek, but unfortunately she may or may not be working the bar.
