Very nice looking Japanese restaurant. It has a bar and a good bit of seating. It's got about anything you can think of, from hibachi to sushi. I got the beef dinner box as well as a glass of white peach sake. Everything in the box was delicious, and is a good deal as it has a little bit of everything in it. It had enough in it as well for a second meal, which is a plus to me. The edamame was cooked well and salted just right.

    MUST VISIT! A HIDDEN GEM

I am absolutely floored by how amazing this place was. The sushi selection was great and frankly, best sushi I’ve had in years. The mochi Ice cream was to die for ( my husband hates it and even he HAD to have more!!)

But aside from the food being amazing and worth every penny, or the establishment being, by far, the prettiest restaurants I have been to in Huntsville; their service takes the cake. My husband and I shared our anniversary with our 1 year old this year. He was fuzzy from the minute we got in. One of the employees ( Nina) asked us if she could hold him. He proceeded to just in her arms and Nina took care of him virtually our whole meal in hopes that we could enjoy our meal. She walked him around and played the piano with him all while giving us 10/10 service. I mean, this business leaves you with your belly full and your heart the most full. These employees truly gave us something we could never pay back. So we leave this review so you all GO EXPERIENCE THE GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE!

This is such a cute restaurant! Everyone we encountered was so friendly! The soup and salad were delicious however, we preferred the miso soup. Fried rice was perfect, probably the best I’ve had! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic! Walking in, the atmosphere is so nice and cute! The host was so polite and nice and sat us at a table in the bar. Our server was honestly one of the best servers we've ever had. She was so nice and polite and personable. She interacted with my son so well, too! Then the food - AMAZING! We had chicken katsu and the Alabama roll. Both were served beautifully and tasted delicious. Then we had the fried cheesecake and it was great! The tempura breading on it was so light and perfect. My almost 9 year old son says "The food was incredible and amazing. The best restaurant I have ever been to!"

We were super excited about a Japanese restaurant we've never been to.

Interior looks like a semi-fancy Italian restaurant with enough Japanese decorations to be off-putting and odd classical music playing.

Service was quick but not particularly clear in speech. It's not something to truly hold against the server, but it does stand out. We also had to stop the server to get refills on water instead of her staying on top of them and we were not asked how our meal was.

The food is where I really thought the ambiance and the pricing were disproportionate. $115 with tip for three people. We ordered a roll to split, a hibachi plate, and two teriyaki dinners.

Middling: The Shrimp Tempura Roll was nothing special but not bad. Salad was watery but tasted fine, miso soup wasn't as briny as I'm used to and it was missing mushrooms but it was fine.

Good: Teriyaki scallops were well-cooked, and the teriyaki was thankfully not sweet. Steaks were correctly cooked, although not seasoned. Gyoza was well cooked and tasty. The tempura had been properly fried, and there were no complaints on that front.

Bad: Chicken was dry and overcooked. Fried rice is infinitely underseasoned. The California rolls were disgusting and honestly just tasted overwhelmingly of cucumber skins, no equal amounts of avocado or shredded crab to offset the grassy taste.

To be honest, I can't say I would give this restaurant another chance when I can get pretty much everything I got from them at Hibachi on Whitesburg or I Love Korea on Jordan Lane for a slight cut in cost and moderately better taste and quality.

But please try it for yourself and see if you agree.
