Grille on Main

Our family visited Grille on Main on Father’s Day at noon. Brunch menu was being served. Our orders consisted of eggs Benedict, Cobb salad, ham and cheese omelet, and a standard breakfast of eggs, bacon, and hash browns. In the past 3 weeks, we have enjoyed breakfast/brunch out 4 times - Grille on Main, local self serve bakery, and a meat and 3 cafe. Unfortunately the Grille on Main was the worst food of the 4 yet the most expensive. The eggs Benedict were marginal in taste and not hot. The ham and cheese omelet was almost missing the ham and cheese - very stingy with the ingredients and not much flavor from a normally flavorable cheese. If you want biscuits, you can get 4 for $5. They were probably the best part of our meal. The skillet cinnamon roll was a miss - not hot enough the melt the icing. The Cobb salad was not much bigger than a side salad at most restaurants but it was densely packed and good flavor - just on the small side. Grille 29 that was in this location was superb and we were hoping this would continue the tradition of a great place for ambience, food, romantic dinners, etc. Unfortunately that was not the case for us. I will say the restaurant recently opened and perhaps they need more time to get things right. The executive chef is famous and has 2 other superb locations in the area I believe. Hopefully he can get the quality and quantity to a level commensurate with the prices.

Chris gave great service the food was very quality and the updates done to the inside were very nice.

I was hoping for a bit more on the Bourbon/Whiskey options, the lump crab flounder was a bit salty for me and the fill was less stuff more soup than I like.

Overall it was a good experience with good food. I am sure as time goes by some tweaks will happen to make it great.

Visited summer 2021, opening week

If you liked Grille 29, you'll like this place too. It's pretty much the same, but mostly different dishes, and maybe a larger menu. The service was great, the food was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Everything seemd clean and we'll organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would certainly go again.

Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I were here three days in a row. (Actually, he was there three and I was there twice). I've found my new favorite restaurant. The manager, waitresses, and cooks are so welcoming and accommodating. They remembered my husband and I, sat us immediately, and we're very prompt in serving us on each occasion. I will be frequenting this restaurant. I was honestly nervous about going, given my last favorite place was Grille 29, but they exceeded my expectations and I was rid of any doubt upon entry! I can't wait to go back!
