I Love Sushi Jones Valley - Japanese Cuisine

Went while it was really busy, and the wait was a bit long, but no more than I really expected - the staff was fantastic though! They kept track of my party when we were both at the bar and still took us to actual seating. The food was incredible (I had sushi, gyoza, and the sizzling beef, and had enough leftover of the entree for a big lunch the next day) and prompt! A+

The appetizers were amazing! I love a sushi roll that is all sushi no rice and the TNT Lover roll was exactly what I had in mind. I also love avocados therefore the King Crab Avocado was the perfect dish for me! My husband had the sashimi bowl which was also quite enjoyable for our first visit this was a great first impression.

I'm so disappointed. I used to eat here all the time (at least once, if not twice a month) but when I went the other night the quality of the sushi had completely changed. They switched to using ground up mush instead of whole cut fish in the rolls. The rolls were bland and terrible. One of them tasted like it had mayo in the fish. That's probably preferable to some people but I actually like the taste of fish. My guess is either they had to cut costs or they are trying to be more like rock and roll sushi. Either way, I guess I'm taking my sushi night business elsewhere :(
