Shogun Japanese Steak & Sushi

Always love it here they put on a good show while they cook your food and the portions are big so there's plenty for leftovers

First time going here! Went here for lunch and the prices were really reasonable. Got the Samurai Steak. It came with a show, fried rice, side salad, soup, piles of veggies, and the steak plus several sauces. All for less than $10 before taxes and tip. And I took an almost full to-go box home with me too. Will be back!

This place is never a let down, when craving Japanese food! Service is quick, and polite. The steak is cooked perfectly.

It was nice! But personally like Ichuban better.. we had 2 birthday girls, we told the waiter, they had balloons tied on their chairs so it was very obvious, the girls were 7 and 10, they wouldn't sing to them but sang at every other table!! Then when we ask, they didn't know it was their birthday?!? Food was good, not great...

We had a great lunch experience today at Shogun! Very reasonable prices for lunch with large portions. The restaurant was very clean and had interesting Japanese decor. (Along with a koi pond with many beautiful fish that you can feed for 25 cents) We were seated quickly, and our order was taken promptly. (Random note: this place has very good Dr. Pepper in case there are any other DP lovers out there haha) The soup & salad had great flavor and was reasonably sized portions for lunch. I had the sirloin steak and let me tell you... this steak was DELICIOUS. Tender, perfectly salted, with great flavor, and could have easily been mistaken for a fillet. The vegetable were perfectly charred with a great light sauce. And last but certainly not least.. the rice is the typical, delicious hibachi rice and did not disappoint. Our waiter was very nice and never let our glasses empty before refilling them. Our chef did a great job and still preformed a show for us even though it was just four adults at the table. (Who doesn't like to watch a grown man twirl eggs on a spatula?) The owner greeted us and also checked on us at the end of our visit to make sure we were taken care of and happy. All in all, we had a great experience here and will definitely be back!
