West End Grill

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food and staff are always excellent! If you’re looking for some home cooked food, and don’t want to do it yourself, this is the place. They have a good-sized restaurant seating area, and a bar with ample seating, too. I tried the Ruben when I was there and it was amazing. I’ve also had the patty melt which was fabulous. They have a very large selection, so you will find something you like there. It’s in a strip mall, so it doesn’t look all that fabulous from the curb.But the food is a whole other matter!! Give it a try :-)

Excellent steak and handbreaded mushrooms w horseradish sauce. I had special, Cajun Pasta w shrimp and scallops. The few shrimp and scallops were tasty. Cajun sauce was flour heavy and unappealing tan color, again, good taste but not excellent. We'll be back. Maybe order French Dip or pub fare next time. Atmosphere inside nice but casual. Outside seating looks nice.

Nothing to go crazy about in my books. Service is good and never had a problem in there, but the food it's just ok. Prices are not crazy. I guess if you are hungry and around the block and need a place to grab food then this is your place. Don't get me wrong , it's not bad but for me, I look for something out of the normal/ordinary in foods and drinks.

Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, super tender. The baked potato was cooked just right. No overcooked taste. This was our second visit. We drove 80 minutes one way to get to the restaurant and we will be going back again for sure. Love it!
