Luigi's Italian Grill

Great local non chain little Italian place. Only been open for a couple of months. The spaghetti with the works was outstanding. Great flavor and not spicy. Their garlic bread is the best in Huntsville. The chicken Alfredo my wife had was also outstanding. Get there early if you want a seat without waiting. Paying with cash seemed to be a problem.

Luigi's Italian Restaurant was fantastic! Excellent Service and the food was great! The best Italian in the area. We are rating it "5" stars but we would recommend cooking the Calamari App less- it was overcooked a bit. The flavor was there but the texture was off. The Lobster Ravoli and the Mussel/calamari/shrimp pasta were so delicious. The garlic rolls were so fluffy and favorable- would recommend spreading more butter on them or having homemade butter (the butter packets were frozen). The Server (Wife) was on point. She would check in on us throughout the meal. If you are seated near the edge next to the cashier area, please make sure that the staff isn't just standing there (between the tables/bar area). Seems like we got "be rushed vibe" from it. Recommend standing away from the tables or on the other side of the cashier station. Thank you!

Enjoyed a Saturday lunch with my mother. We were seated immediately although we arrived at noon. Food is delicious (Grandma's lasagna & cheese ravioli with Alfredo truffle sauce), so I expect them to get popular quickly. Only one server working, so pace was a bit slow, but it is easy to forgive these days.

Lasagna and cannelloni were delicious. Their red sauce is savory with just a bit of sweetness. The garlic bread provided with the entrees was soft and fresh, complemented the meal nicely. The decor and ambiance are not fancy, and the sound of other diners carries throughout the space. This did not bother me as I am more focused on the quality of the food when I dine out. However, they did struggle with service. It has been a few weeks and I hear they have hired some help. I would go back and I think the amazing food will carry them through until they can nail the service issues.

We have only gone during lunch and the food has been amazing. The Italian food, that wasn't pizza, has always been lackluster in Huntsville so this place is a welcome addition. However, I could see how they would have trouble with serving a full restaurant with the staff they have. Which is why we have been hesitant to go for dinner. If they are able to fix their serving issues without compromising on food quality this place will become a gem.
