So I was teetering on whether to go to the fast food place next door or the diner down the street and we made the decision to pull in here. You won’t regret it! My wife makes a great breakfast gravy BUT this is better. Maybe she won’t see this review. All kidding aside, very legit breakfast, too much to eat. Biscuits are huge, gravy plentiful. Place is clean and staff extremely pleasant. I thought for the price and for what you got it was very reasonable. Give them a shot. You’ll like it if you like breakfast!
Really enjoyed my time here this morning! Service was fast and efficient, food was yummy, lots of seating options!
I ordered the retro plate, I also tried my cousins order which was “The Farmer” which has delicious apple butter on it. Also had fried green tomatoes that I wasn’t a huge fan of but I’m not a tomato gal so I won’t hold that against them. My only complaint is that the plates are too small for the food. When you cut into the biscuit sandwiches it just topples of the plate.
Finally decided to try Maple Street Biscuit Co. and it was good. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. It didn’t take very long for the server to take our order given how long the line was. Once you place your order, you are given a numbered table card stand as you’re allowed to pick your own seating. Our order came out pretty fast. I ordered the Five & Dime Biscuit with the sausage gravy on the side. Apart from being a bit dry, the sandwich was good - packed with tons of flavor.
This was my first visit to Maple Street Biscuit Co. I thought it was a sit down, dine in, type restaurant, but anyhoo, we placed our order and sat outside because inside was full and very noisy: we wanted to be able to talk and not shout over everyone else. 😂 The meal was delicious and perfect portion for us and the price. We ordered the grits bowls with sausage. The biscuit was big, buttery, and delicious with the grape or raspberry drizzle they gave me. The waffle my friend ordered was hot and tasty. We'll be back. I'll have to try one of their biscuit sandwiches next time: they looked good. 😋
By name alone this looked like a place I was interested in. The menu has quite a few items for pretty much any taste for breakfast. I chose the country fried steak with sausage gravy. The portion was quite large and flavorful. We also ordered the maple sausage meatballs which were as the server commented "the best thing on the menu". Truly enjoyed them. The price for breakfast was a bit prohibitive for going more than once in a while. I would go again
