Outback Steakhouse

Not bad, but not what I expected.

We had dinner here to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. Service was prompt and attentive but our server didn't have a name tag or identify himself so we can't give him credit. Two of us who ordered steaks declared them cooked perfectly but we had some issue with the sides. One side was steamed vegetables but they were so clearly frozen/microwaved and tasteless they went uneaten. The fully loaded baked potato didn't include cheese or bacon or chives, just butter and sour cream. I ordered the hand-breaded shrimp and although they were tasty they, too, seemed a little mushy instead of crisp when you bit into them. If I were to do it again I'd probable have taken us to a closer and slightly less expensive restaurant.

The experience was good. The appetizer wings were perfect ????, but my wife's shrimp was extremely salty ????. The manager made up for it by taking it off our ticket and replaced it, on the house. My wife liked her wedge salad. (that I helped her with) My steak came without the Bourbon bacon glaze I ordered, but my server was a great guy so I didn't take it personally. I will be back for those wings though! (I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of them)

It was good, we got the steak with endless shrimp and the service was amazing! My steak was a bit cold hence the 4 stars, but it was still tasty I assume it just might have rested too long for my preference. Shrimp was also very good (both fried and garlic) and the waiter was very attentive and quick to ask us if we wanted more.
