    Was in for the first time, had the fried catfish and it was just right. Environment and service was excellent. Great job Tommie and team.

    Great service and sweet tea - and even better food..!!

    Best catfish I have had in a long time.. the chicken was amazing.. all of the sides were fantastic..!

    Passing thru town and Google suggested River City Soul so we stopped for dinner. LOVED the ambiance, music, the attentive friendliness of the staff & the food was simply DELICIOUS down to the dinner rolls...Yes Lord....Look at God!!! Great customer service AND good food make for such a pleasurable experience. The staff really took GREAT care of us and the owner, Tommy visited each table to make sure everyone was ok. Should we ever have to come thru Demopolis again this will be the only place we choose to eat.

    We had lunch of fried chicken and baked chicken. The service was pleasant. The chicken meals were delicious, the fried chicken was crispy and the baked chicken was tender and flavorable. We had three sides rice and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and cabbage which were good. If we ever travel through this area again we will be sure to stop in again to this lovely clean location.
