Giovanni's Pizza

Place is not what you'd expect I went in for pizza and wound up eating best chicken livers I ever had. Great hamburgers, chicken fingers etc make this most versatile pizza joint around. You want pizza but significant other wants hamburger steak no problem head to Giovanni's.

The food is always made to order. The atmosphere is always welcoming!

We had the lunch buffet in a Tuesday. The seating was about half taken. We were seated immediately. There was a salad bar and three pizzas available (space for six) when it was my turn to select I got one piece of cheese pizza. We were sitting behind a partition so we did not know when new pizzas arrived but all the good ones disappeared before we could get to them. I give them a four star because I don’t like cheese pizza but this one was fantastic. This crust was crispy and browned perfectly with just the right amount of sauce. We were from out of town but will go back soon. I think we will order off the menu though.

The wait staff are really nice. But the breadsticks were dry, the marinara sauce thin, they left the tails on the end of the shrimp in a shrimp scampi over pasta dish, so you have to pull them off with your fingers before you can actually eat and, of course, they're covered with the scampi sauce. The salad was delicious and the shrimp scampi didn't have a bad taste to it. However, it won't be my favorite place to get shrimp scampi. Nor based on the marinara sauce, Italian food.
