The best barbecue in the south
Food is amazing. However, if you are ever lucky enough to catch them open you have lassoed a unicorn. All seriousness, I have tried to eat here a dozen times and have had success twice. I would plan on eating here unless you call ahead.
I had the bbq pork ribs and they were awesome! Cooked perfectly with that great smoky taste! I will return for more and I highly recommend! Thumbs up!
I can't possibly say enough about how good the food is. We live in Indiana and visit my dad in Grand Bay a couple times a year. We make it a must to stop by Capt Frank's. We've had just about everything on the menu and it's all soooooo good! From the delicious loaded baked potatoes to the brisket. It's all yummy. We even bought a couple of his T-shirts!! . Thanks Captain Frank we'll see you next time!!
Eh... had the sampler and shrimp. The ribs wasnt anything special, brisket was tougher and dryer than most. The pork was pretty good had a nice flavor. Sides was eh... the potato salad was good, coleslaw tasted exactly like KFC which is good to me and beans straight out a can of beanie weenies. Now the shrimp was spectacular however. Nothing special about the sauce eithe . All in all nothing was bad just nothing that makes me want to finish my plate or come back except maybe the shrimp.
