Pirate's Pizza and Wings

Really fast service for only having one person baking! Staff was really friendly and easy to talk to. Their calzones were HUGE!! They were half the size of the pizza box, enough for 2+ meals. Prices were very reasonable, not too high. Definitely would eat here again.

Pizza was amazing! Calzone was too and it was huge! Wings were good too! May have to wait depending on the number of people on the island so plan ahead....it is worth the wait!

First the bad: It was Saturday night, we called about 6:30, and they said it would be an hour and fifteen minutes for delivery. We called after 90 minutes and they were clearly swamped, with our pizzas just going in the oven then. Pizzas arrived two hours after we called.

Now the Great--The Pizza! By that point we were obviously a bit hungry and cranky. However, the pizzas were piping hot, and every member of our group of ten took a bite and said, "That was 100% worth the wait!" It's honest;y some of the best pizza I have ever had. The cheese is tasty without being too heavy, the crust was just the right kind of chewy. We come to Dauphin Island every year, and Pirate's Pizza and Wings will be on our list of guaranteed-to-go places from now on. We will just try to order on a weekday or else give them plenty of time if it's a weekend evening!

Hands down the best pizza on the island. They were super fast, super friendly and seemed very eager to have business. It’s nice to be appreciated as a vacationer and not a burden. We were unpacking for the week and they delivered an awesome dinner and leftovers on night 1 to ease the stress.
