Fantastic server, great food and a wonderful way to spend a little time this afternoon. The slip says our cashier was "Megatron" so maybe that's a nickname. Whoever she is, thank you for your kindness.
I've had several things on the menu over the last few years including the soon-to-be famous Butch Burger. The burger is on my top three list for incredible burgers in the city. I recently tried the chicken taco salad and it was delicious. There was loads of shredded chicken on the bottom. This thing was packed full of goodness.
Butch Cassidy's is a Mobile staple. It's inexcusable not to eat here if you want a quality hamburger and a cold beer. I personally recommend the prairie burger, but you can't go wrong with the classic Butch burger. The wings are also very good and their happy hour deals are solid. The service is always great from the wait staff to the time it takes to get your food.
The sandwiches were good. I would recommend their Ruben sandwich. I think it is the best Reuben that I have had in many years with plenty of meat. The cole slaw was creamy and tasted good but it is a very small serving. The sourdough burger was good but not as outstanding as we expected. The steak fries were plentiful and tasty.
The waitress was friendly but we had to flag her down to get refills.
