We were looking for seafood and this seemed the closest good option to our hotel. Google said it was very busy but we weren't in a hurry. I guess it was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. The ambience was more Southern Comfort than my wife would have preferred but I thought it was fine. And after we ate the food was so good that my wife was happy. I had a dinner with fried catfish and crawfish tails and my wife had a dinner with grilled shrimp and a crab cake. She said the coleslaw was the best she had ever eaten and I don't know if I would go that far but it was really good. (And I've probably eaten a lot more coleslaw over the years than she has.) Our waitress was great, efficient, friendly without being a pest. I would highly recommend.
Great Place - Great Secret!
My husband and I took a trip over to the flea market. I drove, and the directions took us past Kravers.
On our way back to Mississippi - he asked if I wanted to stop at "that seafood place we saw?" and of course, I said, sure!
Great atmosphere - they were definitely busy and well known to people in Mobile are. We'll definitely come back when in the area!
I felt comfortable with everyone wearing a mask and social distancing! The seafood gumbo was very tasty with just a hint of heat(spicy). My shrimp poboy was overstuffed with delicious shrimp. The waitress was attentive, which made my visit a 5 star!
They forgot my cup of gumbo but I really didn't need it.
